ANTHONY WHATMORE
Anthony completed his Law degree in 1983 at the University of Kwazulu Natal and was recruited by Clemmans & Johnston Inc. in January 1986 as a candidate attorney. He was admitted as an attorney in March 1988 and as a conveyancer in October 1988.In 1997 he established the current practice which has shown steady growth since its inception. Anthony has now been practicing as an Attorney in Durban for over 20 years and has vast experience in all fields of the law but specialises in property law, conveyancing ,trusts and asset protection.

GARY WARNE
Gary joined the team in August 2011 when he relocated from Pretoria to Durban. He is a litigation attorney with the right of appearance in the High Court and heads up the Litigation Department of the firm. He completed his legal studies in 2003 at the University of Pretoria, having obtained the degrees LLB and LLM and has been in practice since 2005. Gary deals with a variety of general and civil litigation matters in both the High as well as the Magistrate’s Court, particularly with regard to personal injury, family law and contractual disputes. |

GLYNIS WHATMORE
Glynis Whatmore joined the practice in June 2001. Although she had been doing the practice accounts on a part time basis since its inception she only moved to an office within the practice when they moved to their current premises at 45 Kensington Drive. She has over 20 years experience in accounting and is now responsible for the entire administration of the practice. She has also taken on the portfolio of Office Manager and HR Officer. |

DAWN MARX
Dawn Marx is the longest serving member of the team and joined Anthony as his only assistant back in August 1998. She has over 20 years experience in all aspects of a law practice and now heads up the Conveyancing Department. She is a very experienced Conveyancing Paralegal and is familiar with all aspects of conveyancing including transfers, bond registration for the 4 major banks, sectional title registers and sub-divisions. Her experience and work ethic make her an integral part of the conveyancing practice. |

TRACY LEZAR
Tracy Lezar joined the team in July 2000 as a receptionist and to assist in the bookkeeping department. She very quickly moved from this position to that of Personal Secretary to the Professional Assistant of the practice at the time and then eventually went on to manage the Motor Vehicle Accident Department. She completed a Conveyancing Paralegal Course in 2007 which she passed with distinction and after a brief time in conveyancing became Anthony’s Personal Assistant in April 2009. Amongst the normal day to day functions of a PA she also helps Anthony manage his property portfolio and attends to the administration and winding up of Estates and the formation of Trusts on behalf of clients. |

THANDI NDLOVU
Thandi Ndlovu joined the team in July 2001 when the firm moved to its own premises at 45 Kensington Drive, Durban North. She is responsible for maintaining the offices neat and tidy and for keeping all the staff well hydrated during the day. She also helps with the banking and other errands in the surrounding areas. |

MARGIE McCAIN
Margie McCain joined the team in September 2003 as the Client Liaison Officer. She initially joined the practice in a half-day capacity but as her functions increased she became full-time employed. She has recently completed a Conveyancing Paralegal Course, which she passed with distinction, and is now actively involved in that department as well |

COLLEEN PATTERSON
Colleen Patterson joined the team in May 2006 to help in the ever-expanding Conveyancing Department. She also comes with over 20 years experience in all aspects of Paralegal duties and is currently employed in a half-day capacity. |

ODETTE ENGELBRECHT
Odette is a Senior Litigation Secretary and is the Personal Assistant to Gary Warne. She is responsible for the administration of the Magistrate and High Court litigation together with general office duties, setting up appointments, liaising with clients and general day to day queries |

LEANNE DE CERFF
Leanne de Cerff joined the team in January 2007 as a Candidate Attorney after completing her LLB degree at UKZN (Howard College) in 2006. She has since finished her articles and was admitted attorney in June 2009. She is involved in general litigation, family and commercial law and estates. She has also spearheaded a very successful debt recovery department within the practice. |

ANDREW ADAMS
Andrew began working for us on a part-time basis while completing his LLB degree at UKZN (Howard College) after obtaining a BA Degree majoring in Psychology & Communications. He then joined us full-time as a Candidate Attorney in September 2010 and after completing his articles was enrolled as an attorney in October 2011. He is involved with general litigation and commercial law within the practice and also assists in the debt recovery department. |

GILL ROSS Gill joined the team in October 2007. She is responsible for the office reception, which is an extremely important function within the business as she is often the very first contact our clients have with our company. She comes to us with over 25 years of experience in customer relations within the banking environment and a further two years in the property industry. Gill speaks Zulu fluently and constantly shocks and impresses our clients when she communicates with them in their mother tongue. |

SIWE MPANZA
Siwe Mpanza joined the team in October 2009 as a candidate attorney after completing her LLB degree at UKZN (Howard College) in 2009. She has since finished her articles and was admitted as an attorney in November 2011. She is involved in civil litigation, commercial law, debt recovery and estates within the practice. |

NONDUMISO DLONGOLO
Ndu Dlongolo joined us in June 2010 as an Admin Assistant after having graduated from the Boston City Campus with a Diploma in Reception and Secretarial Skills. She assists everyone with their filing, faxing, and photocopying and being skilled on the computer she also helps with general office admin where necessary. Her duties also include being the backup receptionist and she does the daily banking and post collection. She is always very helpful and is an integral part of our team. |

USHA HURRIPARSAD
Usha is the newest member of the conveyancing team and joined the firm in September 2010 as a conveyancing paralegal. She comes with vast experience spanning over 20 years of working in conveyancing. She has a sound knowledge of all aspects of conveyancing including sectional title, estates and trusts. Usha interacts well with the clients and is always willing to share her knowledge with all. |
